🎾Play Pickleball. Change Lives. Welcome to the Golden Triangle.
Hey, Monchai here — calling all Pickleball players!
As you know, child trafficking is an insanely huge problem in our society. I don’t need to convince you. Just look at the current news. Here’s your chance to make a positive impact in the fight!
What if your next pickleball trip did more than just fill your court time? What if it helped protect girls from trafficking, supported a 20-year-old nonprofit, and gave you a cultural adventure you'd never stop talking about?
That's exactly what Golden Triangle Pickleball (GTP) makes possible — and this post is your invitation to be part of it.
"Every dink, every rally, every visit to our courts in northern Thailand directly supports Friends of Thai Daughters — an organization that has been preventing child trafficking in the Golden Triangle for over two decades."

The Mission: Pickleball With a Purpose
Golden Triangle Pickleball was built on a simple but powerful idea: the booming global pickleball community could become a force for good in one of Southeast Asia's most vulnerable regions.
GTP partners with Friends of Thai Daughters (FTD) — a registered U.S. nonprofit (EIN: 59-3823613) that has spent 20 years building safe homes, education, and economic opportunity for at-risk girls in the Golden Triangle of northern Thailand. FTD's model is built on long-term sustainability: organic farms, skill-building programs, and social enterprise — not dependency.
And at the heart of two of their residential Children's Homes? Covered, lighted pickleball courts.

Where You'll Play: Sunflower Farm & Jasmine Farm
FTD operates two stunning facilities in Chiang Rai Province — and both are part of the GTP experience.
Sunflower Farm
Completed in 2022, Sunflower Farm is a thriving social enterprise campus featuring the first pickleball courts built in this part of northern Thailand. Tour participants play here alongside FTD's Daughters in daily sessions that are equal parts spirited competition and heartfelt connection. The farm also runs a certified organic garden, a 400-chicken egg operation, a community swimming pool, and a hospitality partnership with the neighboring Tantawan Tented Camp.
Jasmine Farm
Opened in 2024, Jasmine Farm sits near the Mekong River in Chiang Khong and is evolving into a full Pickleball Sports & Community Center. GTP tour participants were among the first to rally on its courts. Future plans include a farm-to-table café, bungalow accommodations for visiting players, and ongoing jobs and training for FTD graduates.
When you play at either farm, you're not just filling court time — you're part of the engine that keeps all of this running.

Can't Travel? You Can Still Make an Impact.
Not every supporter can hop on a plane to Thailand — and that's okay. A direct donation to Friends of Thai Daughters goes just as far. Every dollar funds safe housing, education, and economic opportunity for girls who have nowhere else to turn.

Quick Answers for Pickleball Players
What skill level do I need to join a tour?
All levels are welcome. The focus is on fun, connection, and purpose — not ratings. You'll find plenty of hitting partners at every level.
Is the $1,000 donation really tax-deductible?
Yes. Friends of Thai Daughters is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 59-3823613). You'll receive a donation receipt for your records.
What are the courts like?
Both Sunflower Farm and Jasmine Farm feature purpose-built, covered, and lighted courts — a serious upgrade from most outdoor setups. Balls and paddles are available on-site.
When do I need to book by?
Tour spots for December 2–10, 2026 are limited, so book as soon as possible. A $1,000 deposit (non-refundable, and fully tax-deductible) secures your place. Balance is due 60 days before departure.
Please consider your vacation play here in Chiang Rai. See what your game can do. One dink at a time. Let’s goooo! — Monchai
